Final Diagnosis

Combined congenital melanocytic nevus and mesenchymal hamartoma.

Case Discussion

This is a benign lesion with combined congenital nevus and ectopic tissue/hamartoma.

The ectopic tissue/hamartoma is mostly composed of mesenchymal remnants. Usually the lesion is long standing without significant changes over years, commonly seen on the head and face and may be irritating.
